Surya Karki is Co-founder Business Development Director of Bloom Itahari School. He is also the founder and country director of United World Schools Nepal where he oversees the education of more than 2700 children and the construction of thirty-five community based primary schools in the Sankhuwasabha and Gulmi districts. He is also the co-founder and President of the Diyalo Foundation, which works to develop sustainable, energy, education, agriculture in Nepal. In 2014, he was awarded the Prince of Wales and UNILEVER Sustainable Living Young Entrepreneurs Award, and in 2017, he was recognized as one of Forbes 30 under 30. He finished his Masters Degree as Schwarzman Scholars from Tsinghua University.
